How to Play

Teams of any size can come to ChicagoBlu and pick up a score sheet, answer slips and a pencil by 8 p.m. every Wednesday.

The host will give you 3-4 categories at a time. Once those first set of categories are given, he sks the first question. Usually the answer to the first question is on this page every week, just hours before trivia. A song is played, which allows teams to talk among themselves to get the correct answer and to place a point value on the answer. All answers are due before the song is over.

Point values work like this: every team can use the number 1-15 ONCE throughout the entire game - regardless if they answer the question right or wrong.

HALF-TIME: After seven questions, a half-time category is chosen by the point leader. A general half-time question is asked and usually has multiple parts to it. Teams can wager from 0-15 points based on their confidence. If they get the answer correct, the points are added to the team's score. If incorrect, it is subtracted from their score.

Same for the FINAL QUESTION.

Between rounds 11 and 12 is the shot question. If a team gets it right and no other team gets the question correct, ChicagoBlu owners purchase a shot for each member at the table. Tie breaker questions are asked to narrow down a winner to one team.

Use of phones or any type of reference resource is prohibited and calls for disqualification.

10/12 - Here is today's first question:

In Peter Pan, what breed of dog was Nana?

Bring your answer to ChicagoBlu this Wednesday night at 8!
